• We rely on the actions by you, our clients, as indication of your consent to our existing and future Personal Information practices:

• Your voluntary provision of Personal Information to us directly, through tenancy applications, leases and renewals and strata property forms;
• Your expressed or implied consent or acknowledgement contained within a written, verbal or electronic communication.

Information that is collected includes:

• Information collected from applications and other forms. which may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number(s), date of birth, Account Number(s), Drivers license Number, credit records, banking information, payment records, employment and income information.
• Information we acquire and/or share from other persons (such as references or employers) to verify the accuracy of the information you have provided.

Disclosure of Information to Others:

Facilitech is obligated to keep Personal Information confidential except under the following special circumstances:

• When client consents;
• When required by law or permitted by law.

• Third parties to whom we disclose information to are required to keep your Personal Information confidential and secure as set out in this Privacy Policy and to use it only for the following purposes:
• To assess eligibility and credit worthiness for leases and lease renewals and tenant / owner arrears;
• For legal or regulatory requirements;
• To provide administrative services to us, such as archival file storage.
• If required or permitted to do so by law, we will disclose your personal information to third parties without obtaining your prior approval or providing you with notice thereof.

Limiting the Collection of Personal Information:

• The collection of Personal Information by Facilitech will be limited to only that type and amount of information, which is necessary for the purposes identified by us for conducting business.  All Personal Information collected by Facilitech will be by fair and lawful means.

Limiting Use, Disclosure and Retention of Personal Information:

• No Personal Information will be used disclosed or shared for purposes other than those for which Facilitech collected it unless Facilitech has consent of the client or as may be required by law. Facilitech will keep Personal Information only as long as it is necessary for Facilitech to fulfill the purposes for which Personal Information was collected.
• Facilitech may destroy, erase or make anonymous Personal Information that is no longer required to fulfill the identified purposes.

Facilitech may disclose a client's Personal Information to:

• A person who in the reasonable judgment of Facilitech is an agent of the Client;
• An agent used by Facilitech to evaluate the client's credit worthiness or to collect the client's account;
• A credit reporting agency;
• A third party or parties, where the client has given Facilitech consent to such disclosure or if law requires disclosure.

Safeguarding Personal Information:

• Facilitech will protect Personal Information by security safeguards that are appropriate for the level of sensitivity of the Personal Information.
• Facilitech has made its employees aware of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of Personal Information
• Facilitech will dispose of Personal Information in a manner that prevents unauthorized parties from gaining access to the Personal Information.

Providing Access to Personal Information:

• Upon a client's request, and unless prohibited by law, Facilitech will inform such customer of the existence, use and disclosure of the Personal Information specific to them and provide them access to that information.
